Hurricane Disaster Recovery for Members

Are you an AmeriHealth Caritas Next member who has been affected by the hurricanes? This page will be updated with new information as it becomes available.

AmeriHealth Caritas Next stands with our members during this period of hurricane emergency. AmeriHealth Caritas Next has implemented the following adjustments:

Beginning October 5, 2024, for all Florida members:

  • Allow early drug refills to ensure you do not miss any medications until December 4, 2024.

Beginning October 8, 2024, for all Palm Beach County members:

  • Temporarily suspend policy cancellations due to non-payment of premiums for members who reside in Palm Beach County until December 10, 2024.

AmeriHealth Caritas Next emergency policy changes are temporary and will expire as indicated.

If your health care provider is unable to see you in person, AmeriHealth Caritas Next offers virtual care services at no cost. Get virtual care appointments with Virtual Care 24/7 through our telehealth provider, MDLIVE.
